Fundado no dia 15 de abril de 1997, no Bairro do Jardim dos Imigrantes na cidade de São Simão - SP. O Grupo vem desenvolvendo coreografias que caracterizam o resgate cultural dos imigrantes que compuseram o perfil cultural de nossa cidade e de nosso país até os dias de hoje. Com o objetivo de divulgar a cultura para toda a comunidade, este Projeto desenvolvido pela Ogawa Butoh Center, não poderia ocorrer em outro lugar, pois o próprio bairro tem o nome que inspira o trabalho destes jovens e crianças. O nome do grupo é uma homenagem a grande dama dos festivais artísticos de nossa cidade - Zilda Pereira Portugal, que há muitos anos tem trabalhado para o crescimento cultural de nossa comunidade. Ela foi colaboradora do Coral da Igreja Matriz, do Coral Simonense, da Escola de Samba Ouro e Prata, no Programa Silvio Santos Cidade X Cidade, criou mais de uma centena de coreografias e figurinos para tantos eventos e ocasiões festivas. O Grupo tem também em seu repertório danças alemãs e italianas como Tarantelas, Polcas, danças campestres, rurais e urbanas do séc. XVIII, XIX e XX; tem animado muitas festas pela região e em nossa cidade e está acentuando com alegria o espírito do nosso povo, que traz cultura e tradição em sua história, e que a está resgatando através do grupo folclórico, para mostrar a seus filhos a glória e a riqueza cultural de outrora, para que sobreviva por muitos anos na memória e no coração de seu povo.

Founded on April 15, 1997, in the Neighborhood of the Garden of the Immigrants in the city of São Simão - SP. The Group is developing choreographies that characterize the immigrants' cultural ransom that composed the cultural profile of our city and of our country nowadays.
With the objective of publishing the culture for the whole community, this Project developed by Ogawa Butoh Center, it could not happen in another place, because the own neighborhood has the name that inspires the work of these young ones and children.
The name of the group is a homage the great lady of the artistic festivals of our city - Zilda Pereira Portugal, that there are many years has been working for our community's cultural growth. She was collaborating of the Choire of the mother church, of the Choire Simonense, of School of Samba named "Golden and Silver", in the TV Program named Silvio Santos Cidade X Cidade, created more than a hundred of choreographies and costumes for so many events and festival occasions.
The Group also has in the repertoire German and Italian dances like Tarantells, Polks, country and urban dances of the siecle XVIII, XIX and XX; it has been encouraging a lot of parties for the area and in our city and it is accentuating with happiness the spirit of our people, that brings culture and tradition in the history, and that it is rescuing it through the folkloric group, to show to children of the city the glory and the cultural wealth of formerly, so that it survives for many years in the memory and in the heart of our people.
